Dan Rabinovich (University of North Carolina - Charlotte) is a well-established inorganic chemist who relies heavily on crystallography; he is also a lecturer, reviewer, and prolific author. Dan's publication record, remarkable interest in the history of chemistry and stamps, and dedication to promoting excellence in science was recognized by the ACA in 2014 with the E. A. Wood Science Writing Award. Dan has a regular column in the IUPAC's publication Chemistry International where he describes international stamps honoring scientific achievements. His articles and letters have appeared in ACA RefleXions, Journal of Chemical Education, Chemical and Engineering News, Chemical Heritage.
