FellowsThe ACA Fellows Program was established by the ACA Council to honor members whose careers reflect sustained excellence and lasting contributions to the crystallographic sciences. Building on the Association’s long tradition of recognizing scientific achievement, the Fellows Program broadened the scope of recognition to include not only research and teaching, but also service, leadership, and engagement within the ACA and the wider scientific community. By design, the program highlights individuals whose influence extends beyond a single accomplishment. Election as an ACA Fellow acknowledges long-term impact—through mentorship, professional service, and dedication to advancing crystallography as both a discipline and a community. The program also serves to elevate the visibility of these contributions beyond the ACA, promoting recognition among employers, partner societies, and the public. Through the Fellows Program, the ACA is able to honor a wider cross-section of its membership than was possible through earlier, more specialized awards, reflecting the evolving and interdisciplinary nature of structural science.
Current Fellows of the ACAACA Fellows are members whose contributions to structural science and its applications are scientifically or socially distinguished. Election as a Fellow reflects a record of sustained excellence, leadership, and service. The list below documents the individuals who have been named ACA Fellows, representing a living record of achievement and service within the Association and the broader crystallographic community.
